Virtual Assistant for Real Estate / Property Management / Vacation Rental Business

We are a real-estate firm focused on property management for international vacation rentals, starting first in Rio de Janeiro.

We will not work with outsourcing agencies for this role, only individuals.

We are seeking a trustworthy and available and responsive Virtual Assistant 🤓 to work with a fun and supportive remote global team – you’ll have lots of flexibility to set your own hours and to work when and where convenient.

For this role, the focus is on real estate, property management, and short-term vacation rentals through platforms like Airbnb – previous experience in this industry and domain are ESSENTIAL. 👍

🌟 We already have an amazing VA in our team, but we require a second VA as a back up to jump in when (for whatever reason) she’s not available. For this same reason, even though the work load might not be super heavy at times, it is definitely going to be a stable, long term job! 🌟

Ideally, you would either be located in the Americas or Asia regions, as that will balance out the hours of our existing VA to get full 24-hours-per-day coverage with support of our clients.

Your responsibilities might include (in order of priority):

– Property Management
– Real Estate
– Airbnb / VRBO / Channel Management
– Customer Support
– Short-Term Vacation Rentals
– Social Media Management
– Candidate Sourcing (Recruiting)
– Client/Prospect Support (Email, Chat, etc.)

We use tools like Squarespace, Hospitable, Slack, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides/Mail/Calendar (Workspace), Airbnb, Price Labs, VRBO, Quickbooks, HelloSign, 1Password, Grammarly, and more.

The primary purpose of this role is to interact with clients in support of their questions, resolving their problems in the properties, and managing the Property Management System (PMS) – we currently use Hospitable.

Of course, you don’t need to be an expert in many of the things above – we’ll be happy to train you in areas that you aren’t already proficient and comfortable. If you are a hard worker, a quick learner, and an exceptional communicator – that is what will ultimately matter most. You should be smart and hungry to learn new skills! 📚

** You’ll be expected to be very responsive (during your chosen work hours) – we won’t expect you to respond on non-work hours (unless you want to do so)! You should be available 18:00 (6PM) until 08:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (New York).

** Your English should be impeccable (both written & verbal). This is a requirement since you could be communicating with clients in this position (on occasion). Candidates with working knowledge of Portuguese (or Spanish) will be given extra consideration.

I’ve read your listing and believe I may be a good fit for your business for a few reasons.

1) I have a few years of experience working as a VA and managing a vacation rental. I understand the importance of good clear communication to make sure your operations run smoothly!

Whilst some of the software you’ve listed may leave me a little bumfuzzle ‘d! I love learning new things playing with features to understand the ins-and-outs of what I’m using to be able to use it to its full potential.

2) My time zone is GMT +8. Being 12 hours ahead of EST makes it very easy for me to give you full 24 hour coverage for your clients requests and needs.

3) I’m a native English speaker. Whilst I can’t speak Spanish or Portuguese, I can assure you that my English is absolutely up to par. I have even worked in translation between English and French.
