Video Editor for YouTube Channel

I’m seeking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to create engaging and suspenseful videos using existing footage like clips from podcasts and interviews. The content will focus on the dangers of AI and how it will change our future. The videos will be uploaded to our YouTube channel that has 103.000 subscribers. Eventually we will move towards a custom script with custom voice over. With the current trend of AI we believe we can grow the channel pretty quickly, you will be an important role in that.

You should be someone that can work within deadlines and is knowledgeable about YouTube copyright rules.

Key Responsibilities:

– Edit and assemble engaging videos using existing clips from podcasts and interviews
– Create suspenseful and captivating content centered around the dangers of AI
– Ensure compliance with YouTube copyright rules to enable video monetization
– Design an engaging intro that hooks viewers, using provided examples as a reference
– Deliver completed videos within 48 hours
– Work with given deadlines and maintain open communication with the team
– Select and incorporate appropriate music and sound design to evoke the desired emotions and atmosphere

Requirements:

– Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube content
– Strong knowledge of YouTube copyright rules and regulations
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content in 48 hours
– Interest and understanding of AI and technology topics is a significant advantage
– Excellent skills in music selection and sound design
– Proficiency in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
