Video Editor for Social Media Content

We are in search of a meticulous and imaginative Video Editor to join our team on an ongoing basis to edit and repurpose videos for our various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. We shoot videos once a week, and we require someone who can convert these shoots into one long-form YouTube video and several snippets suitable for YouTube Shorts and TikTok, resulting in content being posted twice a week.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

– Edit and assemble raw footage and material to create seamless final products.

– Deliver one long-form video per week for YouTube and several shorter versions for YouTube Shorts and TikTok.

– Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the edited video.

Content Repurposing:

– Repurpose content effectively to suit different platforms, maintaining coherence and appeal.

– Create engaging short-form content from the original long-form videos.

Branding and Consistency:

– Maintain brand consistency through the use of graphics, overlays, colors, and fonts.

– Work with the team to understand the brand voice and visual identity.

Time Management:

– Meet deadlines ensuring the timely delivery of each project.

– Prioritize tasks efficiently to manage the simultaneous editing of multiple projects.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in video editing, preferably in creating content for social media.

– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

– Strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and demonstrating an understanding of visual storytelling.

– Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

– Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

– Excellent communication skills.
