TikTok & Instagram Video Editor

I am looking for a skilled video editor that is also very familiar with TikTok and/or Instagram Reels current trends. For efficiency reasons, I have found Capcut the best video editor for speed and editing tools.  You must have Capcut pro skills unless you think you can achieve a faster edit with another video editing tool. I am a pro at using capcut and understand the time it takes to edit a short video. I can create a high quality edit in a very short amount of time.

*With that in mind, please don’t apply to this job if you are going to send me high quotes for video edits. If you know how to use the available tools, you should be able to efficiently edit a very high quality video in very little time.

I will be shooting most video with a sony a7iii with a high quality lens, so edits need to maintain this high quality.

The ideal candidate:

1. Will be skilled and proficient with video editing including:

a. color correction
b. adding text, images, and other basic effects to videos

2. Up to date with the latest TikTok and Instagram video trends and what video editing characteristics help a video to go viral. This includes:

a. Creating an attention getting thumbnail image and 3-5 second hook
b. Incorporating shot angle changes, gradual zoom ins and zoom outs, and transitions to keep the video exciting and engaging
c. Use all capcut tools like auto caption generation etc

Jobs will include various edits for social media videos.

The pay for this job can be either hourly (depending on how long it takes you to edit an average short form video) or per video edit
