Social Media Posting & Email Marketing Manager
I am looking for a social media and email marketing manager for a behavioral health care company based in Texas.
This role is responsible for creating, managing, and executing our social media strategy across multiple platforms and managing our email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels, as well as experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms as needed.
Define the most important social media KPIs and report on them to the team regularly.
Manage and oversee social media content, ensuring alignment with our brand and mission.
Use existing blog content to create engaging text, image, and video content for all social media and email campaigns.
Facilitate online conversations with our community and respond to queries in a timely manner.
Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency.
Run regular social promotions and campaigns, and track their success.
Develop and manage email marketing campaigns for two categories: alumni and overall, on a monthly basis.
Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, ensuring emails are mobile-friendly.
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Familiarity with B2B and B2C social media, Google Adwords, and email campaigns and SEO/SEM.
Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
Knowledge of online marketing channels.
Excellent communication skills.
Analytical and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator or other visual design tools is a plus.
Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.
Knowledge of web traffic metrics and ability to interpret them for actionable strategy changes.
