Social Media Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Manager and Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimising our social media presence across various platforms. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in email marketing to enhance our customer communication strategies. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each platform’s requirements.
Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of engaging posts.
Monitor social media channels for trends, industry news, and customer feedback, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, and make recommendations to enhance our social media strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives.
Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversion.
Segment email lists, create personalized email campaigns, and monitor performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of email marketing efforts.
Conduct A/B testing and implement best practices for email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Stay informed about email marketing industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in a fast-paced marketing or digital agency environment.
Demonstrable experience in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to monitor and report on social media performance.
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and campaign optimization.
Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and shareable content.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and industry best practices.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
