Scraping data from LinkedIn

We are looking for a skilled programmer who can create a bot to perform two tasks.

1. The first task is to copy links from a spreadsheet provided by us, pasting those links into a browser, and then searching the HTML of the webpage for a specific string that we will provide. The bot should then copy the block of code where that string appears and paste it into a designated cell on the spreadsheet.

This would be very easy to do manually, but it must be automated, because we expect to do it thousands of times and will likely repeat the process regularly.

Running the bot will require on going management by you, so if it goes well, this will be an ongoing job.

2. The second task is very similar and involves copying a link from another sheet, pasting it into a browser, and retrieving search results on a social media website. The bot should copy the links from the search results (which are usually links to individuals’ social media profiles) and paste them into the appropriate cell on the spreadsheet. Additionally, the bot should copy the name and tagline from the search result and paste it in the appropriate cell in the sheet as well. Afterward, the bot should navigate to the individual’s profile on the social media website, inspect element, and search for another string that we will provide. The bot should then copy the block of HTML where that string appears and paste it into the designated cell on the spreadsheet.

Requirements:

Experience scraping LinkedIn, other social media platforms a plus.
Proficiency in programming and web scraping tools
Experience in bot development
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills in English
