Microsoft 365 Security Specialist - Improve Microsoft Secure Score

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Security Specialist to join our IT team. The primary goal of this role is to improve our Microsoft 365 Secure Score, ensuring the highest level of security within our M365 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess current M365 security configurations and identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices for M365 security, focusing on improving the M365 Secure Score.
Monitor and manage security reports and dashboards within the Microsoft 365 security center.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to staff on M365 security features and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and updates related to Microsoft 365.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation related to M365.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance centers.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Secure Score and its improvement strategies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Microsoft 365 security (such as MS-200: Microsoft 365 Security Administration).
Experience in managing cloud security in a medium organization.
