Law Student to join legal department
We are looking for a competent and motivated lawyer or law student to join our dynamic and growing legal department. You will be responsible for assisting our lawyers and legal counsel in various legal matters, such as research, drafting, filing, and communication. For the first few months, everything will be focused on contracts and so you need to be very skilled with contract law, specifically regarding intellectual property.
To be successful as a legal team member, you should have a relevant degree or diploma in law or be a current law student. You should have excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and accuracy. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Legal Team Member Responsibilities:
– Perform legal research and analysis on various topics and issues
– Draft, review, and edit legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, letters, memos, etc.
– File and organize legal documents and records, both electronically and physically
– Communicate and coordinate with internal and external parties, such as clients, partners, etc.
– Monitor and update the legal team on the latest laws and regulations relevant to our business
– Follow the company’s policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations
– Report any legal issues or risks to the legal team leader or manager
– Perform other duties as assigned by the legal team leader or manager
Legal Team Member Qualifications:
– Degree or diploma in law or current law student
– Proficient in Google Docs and formatting
– Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail and accuracy
– Flexibility and adaptability
– Willingness to learn and grow.

Schedule to be determined during interview. The preliminary training period will come with a $300 training stipend each month, after this time a discussion will be had with the executive team to assess your skills and the possible roles that would bring the company value. This is a great way to get started with a company while you are finishing school and have massive room for growth.
Employment Arrangement:
This position operates on an independent contractor basis. You’ll provide your own tools, including necessary technology and materials. No employee benefits such as health insurance or paid time off will be provided. Compensation will be based on services rendered, and you’ll be responsible for your own taxes.
