📢 Job Opening: Freelance Accountant to Prepare Financial Statements & File Corporate Tax Return (UAE Small Business Relief)

🧾 About the Work:
I am the owner of a small UAE-registered business (established in 2021) that has not generated any revenue to date and has never prepared formal financial statements. I am looking for an experienced freelance accountant to:

Prepare financial statements from the date of incorporation in 2021 to the present, compliant with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements (IFRS or IFRS for SMEs).

Register for Corporate Tax on the EmaraTax portal (if not already registered).

File the Corporate Tax Return, electing for Small Business Relief, as I meet the eligibility criteria (Resident Person, AED 0 revenue, not part of a multinational or Free Zone entity).

Provide guidance on proper record-keeping and ensure that all documents are maintained in line with UAE FTA expectations.

✅ What You’ll Deliver:
Full set of compliant financial statements (2021–Present)

Completed and submitted Corporate Tax Return via EmaraTax

Confirmation of Small Business Relief election

Any supporting documentation for compliance/audit purposes

Clear instructions for future filing and recordkeeping

🧠 Skills & Experience Required:
Qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA)

Thorough understanding of UAE Corporate Tax Law and Small Business Relief criteria

Experience preparing financial statements in line with IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

Strong knowledge of the EmaraTax portal and corporate tax filing process

Attention to detail and ability to explain financial concepts to a non-finance professional
