The Hotel Researcher will be responsible for conducting thorough market research on the best hotels, analyzing data, and developing strategic affiliate marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent research skills, and a deep understanding of affiliate marketing within the travel industry. This role requires the ability to identify trends, evaluate market conditions, and implement marketing strategies that drive both traffic and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research on hotels, including competitor analysis, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, such as industry reports, surveys, and market databases.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize research findings and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and implement affiliate marketing campaigns to promote hotel bookings and increase revenue.
- Identify and establish partnerships with hotel affiliate programs and travel-related affiliates.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for affiliate marketing campaigns and optimize strategies for better performance.
- Stay updated on industry news, trends, and developments to provide timely and relevant information.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development of forecasting models and market projections.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in market research within the hospitality industry and affiliate marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using research tools and software, such as Excel, SPSS, or other data analysis programs.
- Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and tools, such as Commission Junction, ShareASale, or similar.
