Freelance Copywriter Part-Time
We are in need of a Copywriter to join the team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has both experience writing fun and attention grabbing content while also helping to shape the overall brand tone and voice for a company. You will be our first in-house Marketing member who will be responsible for all the copy we send out whether that is through email, social, website, newsletter, marketing collateral, or wherever else the iMAR Entertainment brand tone and voice are needed.
This person should be unafraid to make decisions that will ripple throughout the entire company. We want someone who can see what we are doing and know exactly how it should be marketed with the copy they create. They should also have experience creating brand policies through a brand guide or book.
This is a freelance position with the potential for future growth. Overall, we need someone fearless to take the wheel of our voice.
Required Skills:
A thought leader who can quickly adapt to a fast paced environment who has a way with words
Previous experience in copywriting travel is a major plus
3–4 years experience of copywriting in-house or at an agency
Compelling multi-disciplinary copy portfolio
A working knowledge of current trends in music, entertainment and sports
Familiarity writing across platforms from digital to experiential to print
Proofreading experience with a familiarity of standard AP style and/or brand guides
Strong competence in G-Suite, project management platforms, and presentation programs such as PowerPoint or Google Slides
Proven ability to adapt writing to various audiences (B2B vs. B2C)
Ability to present concepts clearly and to work closely with co-workers, applying creative solutions to strategic business problems
Ability to work under pressure and handle a wide range of tasks/projects at the same time
Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to accuracy
Self-starter, able to think creatively to solve problems
Committed to continuous learning and personal development
Ability to work independently as well with a team
Past history with create brand tone and voice a huge plus
