Financial Modeler for Early-Stage SaaS Startup

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Financial Modeler with a strategic mindset and a passion for startups. This individual will play a critical role in preparing our startup for a successful fundraising journey by developing comprehensive financial models, including profit and loss (P&L) projections, cash flow analysis, and other key financial metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine detailed financial models to support fundraising and investor relations.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Prepare financial projections, analyses, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the creation of pitch decks and other materials for investor presentations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in financial modeling, preferably within a startup or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and financial principles relevant to startups.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
