Experienced UI Designer Needed for High-Impact Projects
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead UI Design: Take ownership of the end-to-end UI design process, from conceptualization to final implementation, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Design Systems: Develop, maintain, and evolve our design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products.
• Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and gather user feedback.
• Responsive Design: Design interfaces that are responsive and adaptive, delivering a consistent experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to identify pain points and areas for improvement, iterating on designs based on user feedback.
• Accessibility: Ensure that all designs adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines, creating inclusive interfaces for all users.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Requirements:
• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various projects and platforms.
• Tools: Proficiency in UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Design Systems: Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining design systems and style guides.
• Prototyping: Strong skills in wireframing and prototyping using tools like InVision, Axure, or Marvel.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
• Leadership: Experience in leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
• Accessibility: Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and best practices for designing inclusive interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of interaction design principles and motion design tools.
• Prior experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
