JOB OVERVIEW

The Chinese Content Creator will be a part-time member of the Periphery Content Team. You will have the opportunity to create Chinese content for our amazing clients from different industries in Metro Vancouver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Understand different clients’ brand requirements, tone and manner, and language styles
-Write WeChat advertorials and articles for various industries like real estate, fashion, education, etc.
-Craft appealing headlines for advertorials and WeChat account articles
-Meet writing deadlines as assigned by editors
-Ensure high quality content creation with no grammar and spelling mistakes
-Generate, research, and pitch advertorial ideas
-Proofread articles for grammar, style, and quality
-Provide ad copy, brochure, and website translations as needed

Qualifications

-Fluent in speaking and writing both English and Mandarin is required
-Proven record of writing or editing experience is a must
-Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills in Chinese and English
-Good knowledge of marketing communications principles, practices and techniques
-Experience in using WeChat and Weibo
-Comfortable with remote work tools and strong ability to learn systems quickly (Scoro, Google Suite, etc.)

Bonus Points:

-Experience in creating real estate advertorials is preferred
-Writing and proofreading traditional Chinese is preferred
